Anyway, my views on Ming Yi...

I have not  been following the news sufficiently to give a complete opinion. But it seems as a monk, he still has a lot of attachment towards the Ren Ci hospital. On the road to enlightenment, a monk shaves his head to symbolise that he/she is committed to kill attachment; to kill the concept of ego.

While it is understandable for monks to retain some form of attachment, I find that his sense of attachment is more than reasonable.
