Learning to Persevere
A while ago I wrote about how perserverance and motivation are interdependent. To depend on one without the other will be ineffective to success. Now, I have a confession. I’m the kind of person who solely relies on motivation. Motivation, meaning being mindful of the task’s purpose. Once I lose focus on that purpose, I tend to give up. It is only when I lack the option to give up, that I endure and persist on. Therefore, knowing the only way I’d persevere is to remove the option of giving up, I made it a point to announce my goals for the holidays. I Procrastinate With A Crap Post
Words have failed me. I’m uninspired. I’ve sat in front of the laptop for hours and need a break. Deep inside, I know that I’m just avoiding the need to do my homework and revision. Enough said. Time to break the procrastination cycle. Logen
